Due to changes in the Indian Government's legislation on youth boarding homes, insisting on a minimum area space per child be allocated, the John Foster Memorial Home trustees are investing in new accommodation to bring the number of boys up to 40 residents. (At present only 28 boys can be accommodated.)

 

From October 2019 through to October 2022 the Trustees, with the aid of the Knights of St Columba, a network of Catholic men across Britain, have launched an appeal to fundraise circ. £60,000 to develop new accommodation, transportation and the necessary equipment to progress the viability of such a needed home.
